The NAENSMS races will vary widely in flavor and atmosphere, depending on the character of the host organization. Registration for individual marathons must be made through the host organization. The common denominator for the series is all will offer a minimum of 45 kmís of racing.
This series is produced to bring more attention to the numerous, well-attended marathons in the northeast and Canada. It is hoped this growing network of marathons and skiers will continue to grow through this organizing effort. It is a way of giving back to the skiing community and furthering the promotion of cross country skiing as a life sport for all ages. Good luck to all.
Our thanks to the following for their contributions: Bob Haydock at his New England XC Ski Site; Pierre Gravel at The Trans Laurentian Loppet.
