Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University - This Cornell school chose WDG to build a new Web site. Features include a full content management with editing rights assignable on a per page and per user basis, an intranet feature for limiting certain content only to signed-in users, and a custom course listing module. We also host this application.

Cornell's Graduate Application Processing System (GAPS) - GAPS is a secure Web application that WDG built for Cornell University faculty, staff, and administrative users to review, rank, and sort graduate student applications completely online. GAPS offers custom data views, electronic letters of recommendations, ETS score integration and more. We currently host this application, which was used to process over 5000 graduate student applications in the 2004 - 2005 academic year.

Sanzo Specialties, Inc. - Sanzo Specialties has been selling real estate supplies for over 50 years. WDG provided this traditional catalog retailer with a professional online store. The client had specialized pricing needs, which we added to our custom store application.

Cornell Institute for Biotechnology and Life Science Technologies - This Cornell University unit selected WDG to design and build their new web site, complete with a full-featured content management system. Also included is an online grant application module. Researchers apply for grants through the Web site and administrators are able to securely review the applications. We also host this application.

Remarkable Paint - We designed and built an online store for this remarkable company to sell its specialized paints. The client needed to offer different pricing to difference users. Our custom solution lets the client add users into different pricing groups, and adjust the pricing per product based on the group. This store sells only to registered users.

Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) - This
global organization of Biomolecular scientists selected World Design to
design and build a complex on-line collaborative workspace. The site is
database-driven and managed by the client through a sophisticated Web-based
operations interface.

GE Dealer Express - World Design
integrated a new "look and feel" into the Auto Finance Extranet
that GE Capital licensed from us. We spent over a year customizing the system
for use with GE Capital's 3000 car dealers. |

Express. On this screen a car dealer can enter vehicle information
prior to processing the loan paperwork entirely online. |

Petscape Products - This Baltimore-based pet products company selected World Design Group to
build a specialized e-commerce Web site. More than just an online
store-this dual purpose site lets consumers browse product and search
for local pet stores by zip code. Retailers can log into the same site
to see pricing and buy product with the full-featured shopping cart.
World Design Group built many custom features to the client's exact
requirements. The entire store is managed from a secure administration
interface.

DogNY - This retail Web site, owned by Petscape Products, sells unusual and hard to find dog gear and donates 5% of all sales to animal rescue. In addition to the features found in the Dog-Powered Sports site above, this store tracks donations to multiple animal shelters and the Consignment Shop lets the public post items for sale.

Lauman's Furniture - located in Baltimore, is one of the largest retail furniture showrooms on the East Coast. This site was built as their "3rd showroom" to showcase items available from their stores. Lauman's staff uses World Design's content manager to edit all content on the site.

Flax - We did not design the look for this site, but we did
build everything else, including a database driven product display for this
nationally known clothing manufacturer. The site is managed thought a secure
administration section also built by World Design.

Superior Tours - This Baltimore bus tour company came to
us for a complete site redesign. On a modest budget we were able to give
them a site which includes a Web-based administration screen for updating
content. On this project we outsourced the design and coding to Web Organix,
one of our design partners.

Mr. Hookup - This company sells big screen entertainment
systems to both retail and commercial accounts. Web Organix, one of our
design partners, created this look and feel.

The Bookery - This unique design was coupled with our custom
built shopping cart for quick online ordering. We also built a Web-based
administration screen for inventory management, publishing their literary
newspaper online, and an event calendar. The addition of local author pages
gave the site a "local bookstore" feel. |

Tioga County Tourism and Economic Development Boards - We
designed and built this site in 1996, making it one of the first database
driven sites on the Web. |
